DoorCrew started from a simple observation: booking home services in Canada is unnecessarily difficult, and knowing who is actually showing up at your door is even harder.
Why DoorCrew exists
Canadians rely on local help for all kinds of things — cleaning the house before guests arrive, fixing a leaky pipe, getting a lawn mowed after a long winter, or moving into a new home. But finding trusted, available, and fairly priced help has always involved guesswork: scanning social groups, hoping a recommendation comes through, or using platforms that do little more than forward contact details.
We built DoorCrew to solve that. Not with promises of a perfect experience every time — real life does not work that way — but with a platform that puts verification, transparency, and accountability front and centre.
Every provider who joins DoorCrew completes a structured onboarding process: identity verification, work eligibility review, a background report review, and credential checks for regulated categories like electrical or plumbing work. None of that guarantees a perfect result, but it means the people showing up have been vetted — not just invited.
For providers, DoorCrew is a way to reach customers in their area, manage their availability and service radius, and get paid reliably. We believe a better platform for customers is only possible if it is also a fair and practical platform for the people doing the work.
