Who can join

Open to capable, eligible Canadians

DoorCrew is open to independent service providers and small businesses across Canada. We review every application carefully. Meeting the eligibility criteria below is necessary to complete onboarding.

Regulated service categories (electrical, plumbing, gas) require applicable licences or certifications uploaded during onboarding.

  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • A phone capable of running the DoorCrew app
  • A genuine service skill or trade
  • Willingness to complete the full verification process
  • Professional and respectful conduct with customers

Getting started

Provider onboarding steps

The full onboarding process will be completed inside the app. Review timing may vary by service category and document requirements.

Create your account and select your role

Join the provider launch list. DoorCrew uses one app for customers and providers, so you will not need a separate provider app when onboarding opens.

Switch to provider tools from Profile

After signing in, open Profile and scroll to the bottom to switch into provider functionality when provider access is available.

Choose your services

Select the service categories you offer. Note that some regulated categories (electrical, plumbing, etc.) require uploading credentials.

Identity and work eligibility verification

Upload a valid government-issued ID. You will also need to provide documents confirming your eligibility to work in Canada.

Background report consent

Review and consent to a background report check. This is part of our standard review process for all providers.

Service credentials (if required)

If you offer licensed or regulated services, upload your relevant certificates or trade credentials for review.

Set your service area

Define the geographic radius around your location where you are willing to travel. You can update this at any time.

Set your availability

Indicate the days and times you are available to accept bookings. Manage your schedule directly in the app.

Connect your payout method

Set up how you want to get paid. Payouts are processed through our secure payment system after completed jobs.

Verification timing: After all required documents are uploaded, manual review timing may vary. You will be notified in-app when your status changes.
